For more information about the RightsCon, check out the website https://www.rightscon.org/ or follow the event on https://twitter.com/rightscon.

RightsCon 2017 is coming to the centre of the European Union: Brussels! Hosted by Access Now, RightsCon is where the world’s human rights experts, business leaders, technologists, engineers, investors, activists, and government representatives come together to share ideas, build strategies, showcase new technologies, and create tomorrow’s Internet.

Convened in locations that are power centres for the internet, RightsCon alternates each year between Silicon Valley and a globally rotating regional event. The first RightsCon took place in Silicon Valley in 2011, and the second, regionally focused conference in Rio in 2012. Since then more RightsCons have taken place in Manila and San Francisco.
