Regional Response to the UN decade of Human Rights Education with the Participation of Civil Society

These proceedings carry summaries of presentations given, including discussion points raised by presenters and participants, papers presented, national plans of action for human rights education in the region (Philippines, Japan and Thailand), and the Osaka and Pune Declarations. The aim of the conference was to review human rights education in the region, formulate and implement national plans of action for human rights education and to make it part of the national agenda.
