FORUM-ASIA thanks its members, partners, donors, and supporters for making 2022 a meaningful year. We are excited to share with you our 2022 Annual Report.

In 2022, human rights defenders across Asia came together to tackle and conquer some of the region’s biggest social, political, and economic challenges. FORUM-ASIA witnessed how its member organisations deftly adapted to the changes posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, all while maintaining their relentless pursuit of justice, equality, and sustainable development.

We are proud to be working alongside such competent organisations and individuals committed to protecting and promoting human rights for all.

Together, we embraced innovative ways of addressing new and long-standing human rights issues in Asia and beyond. Without a doubt, FORUM-ASIA’s achievements reflect the transformative power of collective action.

FORUM-ASIA members are brought together by a shared desire to restore the vibrancy of civic spaces all throughout Asia. While our similarities keep us close, our differences also make us stronger.

This report provides a summary of the activities FORUM-ASIA undertook in 2022 to advance human rights in the region. It also includes our organisational story, financial information, membership map, strategic objectives, as well as a glimpse into our future goals.
