8 March is celebrated across the world as International Women’s Day. It is a day intended to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. A day also to remind all of the indispensable role the women’s movement, women’s rights organisations and individual women human rights defenders have and continue to play in promoting and protecting human rights.

The following posters were exhibited at an event FORUM-ASIA hosted in Bangkok on 8 March 2020, and they showcase various good practices and lessons learnt of FORUM-ASIA members gained through their work on women’s rights and gender equality. They stem from many years of struggle and hard work. And offer both suggestions on what to keep in mind when working on women’s rights and gender equality, but also inspiration by ways of examples of activities for those wanting to get involved.

Those posters are also shared on FORUM-ASIA Facebook and Twitter
