From Our Member Cambodian Human Rights and Development Association (ADHOC), Cambodia – Sensitization Session On the Human Rights, Democracy and Rule of Law

On November 26, 2021, the Human Rights and Land Rights section of ADHOC organized a dissemination session of the Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law. It was held at Phnom Bros Hotel of Kampong Cham province with total participants of 56 youths, including 35 women (62.50%) from 5 universities and from a CSO located in Kampong Cham province.

The purpose of sensitization: to raise awareness to youths about human rights, democracy and the rule of law and their importance to society. Particularly, those youths are able to share such knowledge with their friends, relatives and parents.

The speakers/trainers: Mr. Ny Sokha, President of ADHOC, presented human rights and democracy.   Mr. Prum Sophal, Head of Human Rights and Land Right Section presented the linkage between human rights, democracy, and rule of law and its three main pillars.
