Country Programme as one of three main programmes works closely with other two programmes – Thematic and Advocacy Programme in cooperation with Linkage Programme.

There are two types of country campaign programmes depending on the participation of FORUM-ASIA member organizations – campaign on the country where there is FA member(s) (Nepal and Aceh) and campaign in the country where there is no FA member(s) (Burma). For the former, FA is engaged in international campaign to support the initiatives of FA member organizations inside the country while for the latter, FA joins or initiates the campaigning together with other partner organizations.

At present, FA is engaged in international campaigns in three areas/countries – Nepal, Aceh and Burma. Consultation with member and partners on some countries such as Pakistan, Cambodia and North Korea are underway and needs assessment is being undertaken to develop possible strategies for international campaign. New campaigns may be initiated in case of emergencies.
