FORUM-ASIA will coordinate the Asian Regional Consultation on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights on
13-14 July 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The meeting aims to re-assess key issues and expertise of FORUM-ASIA members
and partners on economic, social and cultural rights (ESCR) issues in the Asian
region.

Participants will also identify common issues and collaboration points and
strategies, in order to realise ESCR at the national and regional level. It
will lead to a collective action plan, maximising the impact by advancing ESCR
in the region.
