The second Global Advocacy Learning Programme on Human Rights and Development (GALP) took place from 27 October till 2 November 2018. The GALP has been initiated by FORUM-ASIA to nurture and expand the organisation’s engagement with youth in the region, and has provides a learning platform for young human rights activists.
The programme was facilitated by experts working in the field of human rights and development. Participants learnt about: fundamental human rights principles; international human rights mechanisms; the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); and campaigning and advocacy strategies.
