Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) Programme Officer (Nepal)

FORUM-ASIA was founded in 1991 and established its Secretariat in Bangkok in 1992. Since then, other offices have been opened in Geneva, Jakarta, and Kathmandu. FORUM-ASIA has consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC Status) and a consultative relationship with the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR).

Under the overall guidance and supervision of South Asia Programme Manager with a tangent line to PME Programme Manager, the PME Programme Officer will assist FORUM-AISA PME Programme in planning, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and grants management. Specifically, the PME Programme Officer shall be responsible for the following tasks:

Executive Director (ED) Re-advertise

The Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) is looking for a dynamic, inspirational, and experienced professional committed to human rights, democracy, and sustainable development to lead our organisation with offices in Bangkok, Geneva, Jakarta, and Kathmandu as its Executive Director.

FORUM-ASIA is especially known and highly respected for its work to protect and support human rights defenders and for its work with national human rights institutions. FORUM-ASIA serves as the Secretariat of the Asian NGO Network on National Human Rights Institutions (ANNI). The organisation has increased its focus on the areas of environment and human rights, business and human rights and is committed to women’s rights and bringing gender equality perspective in all its work.

Resource Mobilisation Fellowship

FORUM-ASIA’s Resource Mobilisation Programme supports the Senior Management Team in implementing fundraising processes in line with the Fundraising Strategy and Plan. Fundraising vehicles at FORUM-ASIA include bilateral and multilateral donors, charitable foundations and trusts, consortium and partnership-based models, non-proselytising faith-based agencies, and through hosting and incubating new initiatives.

Interested applicants must submit the following:
– A copy of your completed Application Form;
– A resume and a cover letter (Both in PDF file) explaining interest in the fellowship.

East Asia and ASEAN Programme Manager

The East Asia and ASEAN Programme (EA-ASEAN) provides support for and facilitates communication and cooperation among member organisations in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia on human rights related issues and ASEAN’s human rights mechanisms. In addition, the Programme conducts and coordinates thematic and country campaigns; documentation; capacity building; and advocacy in cooperation with other related Programmes within the Secretariat, focusing on freedom of expression, association, assembly, and
civic space.

The East Asia and ASEAN Programme Manager is responsible for the overall management of EA- ASEAN programme focusing on country-level work on fundamental freedoms (approximately 70% of the overall work), and ASEAN advocacy (30%), ensuring synergy of different projects/programmes within the Programme, as well as inter-programme coordination within the Secretariat and with members for effective advocacy, campaigning, and networking

Finance Officer (G2-2)

The Finance Programme oversees the financial resources of FORUM‐ASIA and is in charge of the planning, organising, financial reporting to donors, auditing, and accounting of FORUM‐ASIA’s finances. The Finance officer will be working under the guidance and supervision of the Finance Manager with the following tasks and deliverables:

Finance Manager (G5‐4)

Consultants Open Call – Fundraising/Resource Mobilisation (Roster)

FORUM-ASIA is looking for experienced Fundraising Consultants to conceptualise and develop competitive donor proposals. Consultants will contribute to diversifying the donor base and increasing the financial sustainability of the Organisation.

Selected candidates will be working with FORUM-ASIA’s Resource Mobilisation Unit and in consultation with FORUM-ASIA staff and senior management team (SMT), members and potential partners. They will coordinate the development of proposals in a consultative manner and in accordance with internal Resource Mobilisation Process Guidelines.

The ideal candidates will have relevant experience and skills in project conceptualisation, design and drafting; organisational budgeting; logical framework and; results-based management. Extensive experience working in the human rights nonprofit sector is essential.
