The Human Rights Calendar 2008 is a result of collaboration between FORUM-ASIA Secretariat and its members. t is distributed free of charge to FORUM-ASIA members and partners.

National holidays cover public holidays of 26 Asian countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia. international holidays are those set by the United Nations. Memorial days are those which we believe should be significant for human rights defenders in Asia. These holidays and memorial days have been collected from existing websites and the list is non-exhaustive. Some national holidays are subjected to change without prior notice
