Advocacy in Restricted Spaces: A Toolkit for Civil Society Organizations is a menu of options to encourage new ideas about conducting advocacy in difficult contexts. The toolkit is produced by Lifeline, a consortium which FORUM-ASIA is pleased to be a part of, that aims to push back against civic space threats.

The toolkit is a collection of real experiences of Lifeline consortium partners and other CSOs, providing inspiring case studies and concrete examples to demonstrate that advocacy is  possible, and there are ways to do it without exposing yourself to a high degree of risk.

FORUM-ASIA’s experience in successfully pushing the ASEAN governments to commit to a more transparent and civil society oriented selection process for the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) representatives is featured in the toolkit.
