As part of monitoring the work of the ASEAN human rights mechanism, the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the Human Rights Working Group (HRWG), and Asia Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) in partnership with the Representative of Indonesia to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), wish to organise a mid-year review of the performance of the AICHR Indonesia on the progress to promote and protect human rights in the region. The Representative of Indonesia to AICHR, Yuyun Wahyuningrum, will report to the public on the progress and challenges of her work in AICHR from January to July 2019. This mid-year review will be a regularised platform to function as an avenue for sharing information and conveying feedback to the AICHR Indonesia in carrying out her mandate.
