ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children (ACWC), the Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA) and Child Right’s Coalition Asia (CRC Asia) will co-organise a regional dialogue to foster the discussion on eliminating violence against women and children as part of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To be held on 23-24 August in Jakarta, the dialogue will involve the participation of ACWC, national human rights institutions, SDGs secretariat, UN Agencies, concerned government agencies in Indonesia and civil society organisations. To be conducted in Indonesia, this dialogue hopes to be the pilot of future multi-stakeholder dialogue that can be replicated in other ASEAN countries.
