The Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN) will hold its 2nd Asia Pacific Consultation on Refugee Rights (APCRR2) in Bangkok, Thailand, from 7-8 October 2009.

The Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN) will hold its 2nd Asia Pacific Consultation on
Refugee Rights (APCRR2) in Bangkok, Thailand, from 7-8 October 2009.

The
consultation aims to facilitate cooperation and collaboration amongst
APRRN members and develop strategies for future joint advocacy.

There will also be a pre-conference programme on 6 October and
post-conference training sessions on 10 October.

The Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN) comprises a loose
network of civil society organizations and individuals committed to
advancing the rights of refugees in the Asia Pacific Region through
information sharing, mutual capacity building and joint advocacy. The
network was established at the 1st Asia Pacific Consultation on Refugee
Rights (APCRR) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in November last year.
