Aim(s) of the Human Rights Internship Programme PDF Print E-mail

The Human Rights Internship Programme aims to train students or graduates from a range of educational and professional backgrounds to become human rights defenders.

Interns will have the opportunity to put into practice and deepen their theoretical knowledge of human rights and development issues. More specifically, this will afford them the opportunity to develop a more profound understanding of human rights challenges in Asia. Interns will acquire practical experience of work in NGOs and civil society while learning different advocacy, campaigning, researching and networking skills.

FORUM-ASIA welcomes highly motivated candidates with outstanding academic qualifications and/or field experience to join its work in promoting and protecting human rights. Please bear in mind that internships with us are not paid. Applicants are advised to seek financial support independently.

FORUM-ASIA’s Internship Programme is voluntary, the intern is usually not remunerated.
